Thread: Are Helm/Jackets Tradeable in JTL?

i dont have it yet ( i know stop laughing)
I bought a Rebel Jacket off a vendor yesterday from a wookie i guess who couldnt use it for 2 million. I would like to get a full set of the reward pilot gear for decoration (im aloot whore)
Anyone Know if they are tradeable or not? someone told me there were "pre-nerf" ones and post nerf that are not tradeable etc. Any Ideas? many thanks

you proably bought the rebel jacket/shirt from the Corellian Corvette mission loot or maybe there was some nerf, because as far as i know they were never tradeable

no no no, i bought a Rebel Flight Jacket (brown one with orange shoulder patch), im assuming this is the right one, i had it offered to my vendor and now its in my house

I believe the jackets are, the helmets are not. You get the jacket prior to master (after the 30 kill mission), the helmet at master (after the destroy Corvette mission).

neither my ace jacket or ace helm is tradeable. Couldn't even show people in the trade window (that was when the rebel jacket was bugged and could only be worn by neutral pilots).

What annoyed me is a few days ago someone triple incapped me after I was going covert from a roleplaying event. That got me thinking about prestige, once you get enough of it you realize how few places one can spend it.
Without a way to trade gear to get replacements I think we ought to be able to buy replacements with prestige.
Sorry of it is a bit off the topic, but this topic was part of my train of thought.
