do you have to have people maning the turrets to fire them or can the pilot do it from the cockpit somehow? i am asking this question mainly about the YT-1300

You need to have people man the turrets...guns cannot be fired by the pilot. I believe missiles and spacebombs can be fired by the pilot....Boslo?
