Thread: YT 1300... WHY privateer only!?!

I can just imagine how many posts and complaints there has already been about this, but I still and a little disapointed that the yt 1300 is strickly to privateer use only. First off, the apperance of the yt 1300 as the falcon is seen in ep 4, 5, and 6 as a ship used buy a REBEL SMUGGLER. Now I understand people think some ships should be restricted to professions, and I personnaly think that is unnessary but I just am amazed that such amulti-facation related ship is restricted to the freelance pilots. Wouldnt it make more sense to have the firespray, which is seen as a bh ship in the movies (I know its like a law enforcementship) be the unique privateer spechail ship. I know boba had a small arrangement with the empire in order to collect his bounty on Han, and mabye that might give the firespray some source of faction relationship, but I still see the firespray as more of a outsider ship compared to the yt 1300. I hope I can get some response from anyone helpin me understand why the yt 1300 is designated only as a privateer ship..... thanks I guess

Why is the Firespray available to all, when clearly only a criminal or freelancer would have one? Why don't the neutral pilots have a master level fighter? Why are you talking?

I don't get it either. I myself am not concerned about it since I don't actually want one, but I can understand the frustration of not being able to get one as a Rebel Pilot. I wouldn't have mind seeing it certified for all three professions honestly, while keeping the Firespray in Privateer only.

Of course, the devs would have to add a Privateer Specific master level multiplayer ship...

I think regardless of any change with the YT-1300, the Freelance Pilot profession needs a player craftable master level chasis that can stack up against a B-wing.

Why is the Xwing Rebel only! Ive seen freelancer pirates flying them!

first off stop being selfish, us freelancers need our own ships to. each faction is entitled one multiperson craft and that one is ours. technicly its a freelance cargo craft the pilot just happened to become rebel so shut your hole. both factions have it better then us so stop whinning.

Tell em leeca. I became a freelance FOR the YT-1300, if you loved it as much as I do, you'd do the same.

actually han was just a smuggler...a normal....scum sucking...freelance smuggler, he only helped the rebels because he wanted money (and Leia's bantha butter)
