Thread: question about component quality

I have a newbie medic, and was just wondering if what I have noticed is true or if my luck has just been strange. I started a couple days ago on my medic, and have worked up to organic chem III. I've been working one the stim bs quite a bit, and it seems so far that the quality of the medical components don't seem to make a difference. I have made several components with low quality resources, and then when I crafted the final stim with high quality resources I ended up with almost the exact same thing as if I had used the high quality resources for everything. Is it true that this happens, or do I just need to try a few more times experimenting with all the components?

Are you experimenting on everything? The quality of the resources directly affects the extentto which you can experiment on your medicines.

For example, a Biological effect controller made with lower quality components (say OQ and PE around 300) will give you fewer "boxes" to put your experimantation points into when you experiment. This effectively puts a ceiling on how effective that component can become. If you only have a few experimentation points (say, 4) it won't be much of a problem. However, if you are a Master Medic or Doctor, you may find yourself maxing out the experimentation boxes on the item, with experimentation points to spare.

Thats where the higher quality resources become important. The more the more effectiveness you can get out of the item, the more you can put your experimentation points to good use.

I hope that helps and isnt too confusing.

I'm looking at a capacitor and I can't figure out one thing.

When it lists a recharge rate, does a smaller number mean a faster recharge (like attack speed) or does a smaller number mean a slower recharge?
