If anybody has any idea why my starter ships weapons do absolutely zero damage, I'd like to know myself!
I took my first mission after getting my initiate box, and just had to do patrol points over Tatooine. I died the first time, but I at least took out some Z95's in the process so everything was working and cool. I fully repaired my ship at the space station, and now when I re-do the mission, I can unload and unload and unload nonstop on the Z95's and do absolutely zero damage to their shields or anything. Any ideas? This really sucks!

Are you aiming at the green tracer retical thing? There's a stupid bug where you can't damage them by hitting them from the top or bottom.

Yeah, aiming at it and missing a whole lot. That may be my problem, but I find it odd that I had absolutely no problem the first time I did the mission, but only every time since the first.

Umm, interesting ...
Not even doing damage to the shields, huh? Well, not sure what you could do, maybe land and come back, if that still doesn't work, might have to buy your own ship.
Oh, and are you sure they're your targets? They may be someone elses mission and it's 'protected.' If it's giving you a beeping sound or you see red x's showing up on the hull when you shoot it, that means you can't damage it.

This is all true. Also, check the tier of your opponents. You shouldn't be seeing anything too advanced in the instanced area for your beginner missions, but if the tier of your opponent is too high, its likely that you can't do damage to them fast enough for it to mean anything. However, this is rarely the case.

If none of those are the case, then land, destroy your starter ship from your datapad, and talk to the guy who gave it to you for another one free.
Could help. Certainly couldn't hurt.

Positive. They don't even spawn until after I reach a certain waypoint in my patrols.
Oh and on another note, if anyone knows how to "rollback" your computer, like have it load itself from a previous date and give me a walkthrough on how to do it (I've done it before, but I lost the steps on how to do it). My computer is acting all screwed up and I usually roll it back once it starts, which fixes the problem (I guess temporarily if I have to keep doing it, but fixed nonetheless).
