Everytime i leave the stick in my Yacht, the engine comes to a stop.. Isnt it possible to go down below and craft etc. while your ship is set for another part of the system?

Following the path chosen for me..

If you boost and leave the pilot chair the ship will continue to move for a few seconds :/

Without a pilot, the ship will stop, this is the way it was designed. The reason as I understand it, is so one person cannot set auto-pilot, leave the cockpit and run up to a turrent and fire away. The dev.'s want a mp ship to be a mp ship, so you will allways have to have a pilot.

Well, i know that its not ment for people to set on auto pilot and then run to the turret, but how about the Yacht ? This is a non-combat ship, so at least you should have an option to set a route and then go around inside the ship during flight..
