Since JTL needs loads of content, it'd be nice to get an odd new Starship once every coupe of publishes, since we all did pay for the add on. The Krayt Gunship was nice, and so was the Firespray at the last moment. Please sticky this.
Please suggest on what Starships you think should be able to build and fly for JTL in the future.
Well, for one suggestion there is the Outrider Model of the YT series flown by Dash Rendar in Shadows Of the Empire . In the same book/comic the Black Sun had a class of Fighters too which would be nice for the Privateers.

i was reading some star wars book recently (no net, only book i could find i hadn't read to death)..
anyway, they had loads of hybrid ships in it. tie cockpits grafted to y-wing engines. tie balls attached to xwing wings w missle launchers. all kinds of cool stuff like that.
i'd love to see more 'hot rod' type ships of all makes.
give me a dune lizard front with xwings and a tie oppressor overhead panel

Id like to see the Rebel Medium transport added to the game as a multiplayer ship Its about 2/3 the size of a Corvette. 7 Turrets, no missiles.

Dash Rendar's ship is a YT-2400. I'd like to see the YT-2000 on top of that. I remember playing in and looking around the cockpit and seeing the [b]two[/b] doors in the cockpit (one behind the co-pilot's chair and the other to the right of the pilot's chair) and thinking, "Wow, I'd really like to walk around this ship."
Ah, heck, I think we just get all of the XWA fighters/light transports into JTL!

Well the obvious ones for me would be:
The Naboo ships that appear in Episodes 1 & 2 (like the fighter and the royal yacht) Player flyable versions of the Imperial Shuttles and Gunboats, rebel transports etc Player ownable droid fighters that you call like a ground droid, think probots in space.Message Edited by Snadroj on 01-14-2005 04:08 PM

Oh god, yes! flying the Imperial Lambda type Shuttle would be so cool. Same with the Naboo Fighter, even though they're antiques now.
The Imperial's need the TIE Defender too.

We need to be able to man freighters. There are doezens of models already in game. Something player owned and in need of friends to guard it would be sweet.

Well their not really "hot rod" ships. Those are what are called "uglies".
Uglie: plural uglies
1: A ship made up of major components salvaged from differant damagedships, typicaly used by pirates and mercenarys withnofunding.
Origin: Typical saying by freighter personel when seeing the craft and answering the question "What the blast is that thing?"
he he i for got to post my favorite ships i would like to see in future publishes. First of all these should all be cross faction ships so all could use them.
Cloakshape Fighter
Preybird Fighter (it is not a star trek ship, just has simalar name)
Jedi Fighter (the original one. jedi shouldnt get exclusive rights to it either)
Additional mp ships that dont reguire a lot to use it.

ok, how about lancer frigates? (anti fighter cap ships) I dont care if they are flyable or not, but they would be a good compliment to the ISD in DS.

yt-2000's would be nice, a muurian frieghter as well for free lance pilots
T-wings, which are 2 pilot fighter-bombers for the rebs
The Tie Defenders would be up there.
Jedi masters should beable to fly the Tie X-1 Prototype as well, as a Master Gift.
Oh, why isn't there More Capital ships around planets?

tie defenders
a customizable yt-1300 so you can change it with the right componets to yt-2000 yt-(dash rendars)
playergunboats and the smaller classic imperial gunboats
lamda shuttle a universal craft that can be flown by all
frighters im thinking like moble homes so you can store your ship and your items in it but is prone to pirates who will board your ship and try to take your stuff
ships like t-wings R41 starchaisers
