Won't happen. The devs are very adament about keeping Space and anything to do with village and jedi separate. There may eventually be other things you can purchase with the prestige points you earn after making ace pilot, but Space xp and FS xp will never meet.

I'd much rather grind hundreds of hours in JTL then in the ground game :/

I just cracked sixty million tonight.
Assuming an average of 6500 points per ship (5000+6000+7000+8000/4), that's roughly 9230 dead ships since Acing.
Another reason there will NEVER be an FS conversion is the stacking for multiple Aces.
Grind all nine squadrons and you'll be earning xp at quintuple the rate.
That'd make single B-Wings worth 45k. Go ahead and keep making the case that Prestige is as hard to get as combat/weapons xp.

If you declare at a faction station when you fly, you can earn some decent factions points, go to a recruiter when you land and trade them to train in combat, then swap the combat xp for force sensitive xp at the village at a3:1 ratio.
It's not much, but at least it's something.

yeah man space is the best way for FP, I ground 10k in one evening once (you get almost 200 FP for tier 5 gunboats!!!! and tier 5 fighter drop around 50 FP each!!) you can earn it at an obscene rate. which is cool as i was never really whole heartedly into the faction grind on the ground and now i can get all those cool faction perks i could never afford. PLUS im saving up shed loads of points for whenever bases can die again so i can contribute turrets and minefields to my hearts content

that's right people.. go overt.. all you silly imps neeeeed to go overt. for my sake haha. i run around overt in space every time I fly and hardly see any imps that have the guts to go overt on my server. all talk and no action. guess since it takes real skill in space they're afraid to do anything that would get them killed. sad really. lol please I need some imps to kill!

Master bonus Xp is number of Pilot professons mastered X the mobs Xp.
Where as number of professions can range from 1 to 3. Neutral, rebel, or Imperial.
Mastering rebel pilot twice in two different squadrons for example, doesnt count. So grinding all 9 squadrons is pointless where the master pilot bonus is concerned. 1 squadron, per faction is all you get.
