ok, this seems to be a simple mission. go and disable the ship, dock, and inspect for information. trouble is i have done this 11 times. i have tried it with a friend who has completed it, i have aborted and tried again, i have aborted, disbanded with the friend who has completed it then tried it.... is there an average number of attempts for this?

and also, there was one time where it said that it was unable to load the information. i dump all but 11 of my datapad waypoints, and clear my inventory of 20 things. no go. then it disengages, and i cant dock.

if i have to destroy 50 shuttles, i will do it. but its fricken frustrating. especially when they never spawn anywhere near my 'possible target location'. so, what can expect guys?

The way i did it was to disableweapon systems,then thereactor, finally /dock(I never had tomanually inspect the ship, it was an automatic sequence). TheNav computer noted irecovered the data, and missioncomplete. perhaps you have toremove the2 escortTie Interceptors, orits just possibly that it isnt the rightLambda I seem to recall several flying around theway-point.

But on another note, I would take some time on that mission, so many vunerable Tier2 and3pirates flying about, nice xp and some very nice loot.

ok, thanks all for the help. the key is to take out the lone elite guard flying near your wp, then 2 more elite guards swoop in with the lambda. and true it is inspect then dock.

yeah, you're right, its good xp, but i am nearing the point where i have to train or gain no xp. were you able to find the ship near the waypoint given? and if so, how long did it take to show up? i've never seen a shuttle within 3-4k of my wp.
