I am using my Yacht as a mobile space home. I have most of my stuff in it. I was wondering if I can do the same with my Decimator?

Also, if I give rides to people, can these people take what is in my ship? I see no doors to keep people out of the main space like in my Yacht.

I guess the decimator is like the Nova, which I have, and yes, it can be decorated quite nicely. I even read that the decimator has the largest interior compared to the Nova or the YT-1300.

Furthermore, your gear is afe, as long as you don't put people on the administartor list. Which, in my case, hasn't ever worked anyway...

Yes you can (take a lot though just like a house, same with yachat.)

and items in the ship are like a public house, nothing can be picked up unless you give them rights to do so from the ships terminal.

so they can walk around look at stuff (not inside of stuff though), but not move it or take it.

yeah, admin rights on POB ships are bugged, so you're stuff is safe from everyone.

The Y-8 works real well as a floating house too.

The Y-8 is massive, it's pretty much a mini guild hall in space.

I'm thinking of getting it just to decorate it, not to mine in it,

Actually it doesnt take up a lot.. I have three POB ships and all my lotsleft..

i want a Y-8 already :'(, they look dam nice inside, cant wait for them to fix the quest for it

You can start the quest with Flash Harrison on Kashyyyk in the big tree. Basically mining and fighting enemies off.

It's too bad the Y-8's z axis is bugged for decorating, makes it hard to do much with it.
