make sure that your went PVP Overt and make sure your taking on Rebels, more then the rebels use X-Wings and Z-95s.

How do you get faction points in space?
I'm an Imperial pilot and for the ground game I'm all crafter now (was fencer.) but Can I just go to an Imperial Space Station, declare then go blow up rebel ships to get Imperial Faction points?

I think about taking some friends in my acr to deepspace just for the fun of it. Does the alignment on the ground and pilotwise prevent them from shooting imps (when they are imps themselves)?

No it doesn't the gunners will be able to shoot anything u can and not be able to shoot anything you cant. When I was in a friends decimator I was able to kill rebel ships and im rebel.
