Thread: Preordered Rage and Wondering When JTL will be active

Hi everyone. I'm new to SWG. I decided to join up since I have the Station Access and already have EQ, EQ2, and EQOA. The game is a lot of fun and just neat to explore in. When I saw that the Digital Download of Rage of the Wookies included JTL, I decided to go ahead and preorder it. I have more interest in JTL, but don't mind having Rage if I can get both for $24.
My question is when does the JTL become active? Will that be when Rage goes Live? It isn't active on my account yet, but I wondered if anyone knew for sure. Thanks.

hey welcome to swg. i left EQOA (proudpine)for it. JTL should be active as long you have the orginal game. Rage will be active may 5th, supposedly. expect a little later tho.

Last time I checked, I couldn't yet converse with the corsec recruiter after pre-ordering ROTW onthat non-JTL account.

I'm having the same problem. Pre-ordered days ago but still can't talk to the guy. However I have a friend that pre-order the same day and was able to start playing JTL immediatly.

Did you all go to the register expansion button on the launch pad? Iv never done a digital download before but id asume you still have to register.

Same thing here. I went ahead and reactivated my account Friday because of the new expansion coming out free with JTL. I was hoping I'd be able to go ahead and download Jump to Lightspeed, but I didn't see anything.
Am I missing something? Or do I have to wait till the May 5th before getting JTL?

I pre-ordered also. I am assuming JTL will not activate until May 5 because they are not charging the credit card until then.

This is what I figured too. Since my credit card hasn't been charged yet, then I wouldn't be able to play JTL stuff. I was just kinda hoping I'd be able to. :-)

You need to enter a registration code to activate JTL and, probably, RotW. They won't sent the registration code until your credit card is billed. Administrative nightmare to deactivate JTL on accounts that cancelled the preorder.

My Alt isn't jtl enabled .. but i've preordered rage of the wookies for it. Fingers crossed I can respec to master shipwright
