Thread: Suggestions for Adding the GCW to the Space Part of the Game

1) Make A Rebel Capital Ship(say teh Mon Cal Crusier)


2) Allow factional players to land their fighters on teh Larger Factional ships and stations. Hang out in teh Ready rooms or just BS with some Danacers and Musicians around. Then when an attack starts let them launch from on board.


3) Instead of the SDs in orbit graphic we all see from the surface. Replace it with the Capital ship belonging to the side winning the GCW on that planet.


4) Actually place those ships in orbit to be used as per #2 and have the lose of them mean something. Like say if you control teh High orbitals your ground forces get a bonus when attacking ground bases.


5) The Best would be teh ability to actually USE our ships in ground attack but I know thats not goning to happen with this code setup.

well, for attacking ground targets, perhaps all bombers (TIE bomber, Y wing, B wing, krayt bomber) would be able to target factional bases from space, such as targeting a certain base from space with a certain button, then you could select the turrets individually, and fire some spacebombs on them (which should really hurt em) but would only work when the base is vulnerable, and would be very usefull in a coordinated base attack (post CU it will be a lot harder to take a base down, this would be very usefull to help with teamwork and such)
