You must first install a secondary weapon such as a rocket launcher and then load ammunition in said weapon.

Had that "disabled" problem in Beta cause my reactor was to weak.

I had to play around with my ship for quite some time yesterday before I finally got my new scyk proton capable.First off you have to install a proton/concussion launcherunder the section labeled Ordnance. Then you have to load individual proton/concussion packs under the Ammunition, which is a subsection of Ordnance. As long as you have enough energy to run everything on your ship you should be good to go at that time. The only thing that sucks is that you have to load the packs from a starship terminal and the ship only stores a small amount. It is good that they do it this way because it would be a little unfair to store more than10 or soat any one time.
I would also like to mention that you need to be sure you only try to load one pack of missiles at one time. The first time I went to load mine up I double clicked on all of my packs because I didn't know what the limit was. After the first 7 were loaded the rest just deleted themselves. That really sucked too.

I have a mark 2 proton missle launcher, but it keeps saying I can't load the mark 1 missles I have. I bought mark 1 proton's simply because there were no mark 2 proton missles.
So are the incompatible or what?

Check to see if there are some loaded already. I found that when I tried to load mine I had somehow already loaded some and the rest accidentally deleted themselves as it said I couldn't load them. This is some kind of bug but I couldn't figure out a good way to report it as there is not a catagory for managing your ship under /bug.

To answer most the questions..
1st for warrior1...Make sure your weapons are in a weapons group...By preesing the "G" key...the weapons grouping page will come up. Then u can mix and match weapons as u please. As many weapons as u have can be in one group so u can fire them all with same button or you can split them up into different groups and fire them with seperate buttons..or u can do both...
. And if u dont like the keys that are set up for firing the different groups you can rebind them in the options menue under controlls with the keymap button at the bottom.
2nd...For Vicu...unfortunately only mark 2 protons will work in a mark 2 proton launcher. Thats the rule for all ordanance..

Yep, they are - you cant load Mark I missiles into a Mark 2 Launcher (or Vice Versa) - each missile pack is only compatible with its comparative Launcher . You'll either have to get a Mark I launcher andload that with the Mark I's you have, or find some Mark II missiles to load up your MK II Launcher.
