Thread: RUMOR CONTROL:How may gunmounts on the Mining Ship?

I have heard rumors that the Y-8 Mining ship has as many as four turret mounts. Can any one confirm or deny this?
I've been looking very closely at the pics on the SWG website as well as a few I could snoop out on the web. Frankly I didn't learn a whole lot. As near as I can tell there are two mounts. One large fixed forward fireing gun on the left of the bridge, likly the mining laser and a turret atop the bridge, presumably the tractor beam. Still, this is all conjecture.
If you have an answer, that would be great. Make sure you post your sources along with your info. Thanks.

it would be cool if you could mine and fire 2 turrets at the same time.
when you man a turrent on the yt-1300 or nova or deci you sit outside the ship and fire at what ever flys your way. If ya have 2 turrets one mounted on the sides so you could get clean shots on the top and bottom then one person could man them. then have the tractor beam and mining laser at controls a and the turrets and b. That way you could be mining away, then boom pirates you hit the switch button and then your fireing the 2 turrets and killing pirates. Its almost like making you mineing ships into a moblie attack platform or mineing platform.
