Thread: Best PvP moments you've been in...

Thought this might be a good subject. Brag about your most memorable kill(s), and prettty much just have fun with it. Don't turn this into a flaming or discussion thread on what is or is not wrong with JTL. Just post your acomplishments that you're proud of whether they be death, kills, just surviving, whatever. Lets just have fun with this and try to hype each other up for our next pvp encounter.
Well mine happened tonight. Bloodfin doesn't get a lot of space pvp, it gets some, but nothing like Starsider from what I hear. And all the pvp that I've been in has been pretty much 1v1. Or a guildie and me going after an overt making it 2v1 in ourfavor.
But tonight, i had my first 2v1 encounter against me. One was a KSE and the other an Oppressor. Caught me completely off guard. I had saw the Oppressor and started vectoring in on him, and next thing I know I have another ship shooting at me. Started juking and weaving, and pretty much making it hard to get hit. After all that dancing, and having both my front and rear shields taken down, was able to knock the oppressor out with a couple hits, then went to work on the KSE and after a few more moves and dodges took him out as well. Fight seemed like it lasted for well over a minute, but I'm not certain as it was really intense. And I don't fly an awing either. My pvp ship of choice is the Xwing. And that's what I was in tonight. Really pushed my skills to the max. I'm just glad I came out on top.
However, they both came back for me a little bit later at the same time. Tried to lure me into a trap which I avoided. Ended up fighting them on my terms, but they did some good coordination and tactics and took me out with a sweet move that really impressed me. But even then the second fight was a lot of fun to.
That's mine. I have others that stood out to, but this one just takes the cake for me. Hope some of you guys share your experiences. Maybe we can just call this the bragging board lol. Since we all know Pilots have ego's even when we are respectful to one another.

I've been in some nice big PvPs on Starsider but they changed the time they are doing them so I often end up with a conflict. Was in one good draw fight X-wing vs Advanced. I punched out of my X-wing in the end but the guy told me he was pretty much done after the fight. He was crawling at like 100 top speed and had massive system damage. It was a lot of fun. We were fighting around an Imperial space station flying through the structure and around it. Very good dogfight.

Was overt grinding FP in deepspace. In the middle of nowhere I got shot once and blew up. That's pretty much the only one I've ever been in heh.

I've been in three 3v1 situations and come out alive (but scratched twice). Probably the only reason was I was engaged offensive and not defensive.

lol my fave is picking on gankers in regular space and kessel ..bait and trap.... ever seen raptors hunt that should give u an idea. Never know where or how many till u engauge lol

I have had a lot of great moments in pvp, but a recent expirience was when i brought the nova into DS for Gunship hunting. I had a very sharp gunner in the top turret, and he just happened to notice two pc oppressors sneaking up behind us. That top gun has 4650 before overloads and he opened fire just before the imps got into gun range. He stopped them both dead at max range!
The rest of the day we would work in support ofthe fighters by making fast or half speed passes throughthe furball and wreaking quite a bit of destruction. If we were lucky enough to notice an imp trying to engage, I'd make a quick turn away from the fight and hitthe bossters. If they chased us, the gunners would open up at about 600-620m. By the time the fire got out there, the target would be in range!
Being in the nova, we were an easy target, but we still managed to give more than we got. =)
Even with these poor parts we have, with a good team and good stategy, even an mp ship can be a force to be reckoned with. I can't wait to see what is gonna happen once RoW comes out. =)
