Thread: Level 2 Imp Mission A little help please

I am trying to complete the Inquisitor's Mission given out at the Emperor's Retreat ... Capture Colonel Hand's shuttle. I have attampted this no less than 20 times. Each time I knock out the escorts and haul ass to the shuttle only to get within 200m and have it jump from the sector, or I attempt to disable the shuttle first and wind up being blown to bits by the escorts and the shuttle. What is the trick to completing this frustrating POS?

I'm guessing - sounds like it's taking too long to destroy the escorts?
Jump to the Pilot forum and skim through the threads on upgrading your equipment. New guns/engine might help a lot.
When you fight an opponent, do the shields ever drop below 50%? If so you're wasting shots. Watch how you fly, try to manuever yourself into a position where you are either always behind the target shooting their rear, or joust (strafe) them and shoot at the front.
