Thread: Does anyone know...
...If extractors use their cash/power while the server is down? This might sound crazy but the way they coded the extractors could be based on the server's time and therefore, values of resources gathered would be calculated when it comes online. So while we would be getting the same resources as if the server had been operational...we would have no chance of dumping more power/cash in.
The fact that we couldn't put more power/cash in makes me believe that the extractors values of gathered resources is calculated on time the SWG server program itself is in operation and not on the system clock.
What happens to city specializations if a new mayor comes in, or the current mayor drops the required skills to keep them? I know structures and decorations don't go away, but I haven't found an answer to the specialization question.
Forgive me if the answer is in here somewhere and I was too dense/lazy to find it.

The enactment of city specializations is based on the mayor's Politician skills. Ifa new mayor does not have the specialization you are interested in then it will no longer be available to the city.

I had actually heard different from a CSR in General Chat last week, when I asked about the transition of the mayor concerning city specializations and structures, I was told that everything would be able to stay, just that the new mayor wouldn't be able to change or replace any of these structures/specializations until they reached the said skill...
I'm heading back to the chat room now to get verification on this...
as a 0-0-0-0 politician that I just won
the old mayor was 2-2-2-4
we transfer nicely... all structure remain intact ![]()
we didn't have specialization so we didn't test that sorry.

So until the devs fix it...it's a crapshoot.
