Thread: European Release changed again?

Just checked on www.play.com to find that JTL is now listed as a 12th November release. Now i've also checked a few other places and they are still listing a 5th November release, so im hoping this is just a glitch by play.... although it could just be they have more up to date infomation.... 
I have mailed play just to check with them, but im only expecting a stock answer (It will be out when it's out). Can we get some Dev check on this?

Well November the 15th is a Monday in my calander this year. I dont know about yours. 
The 12th is the Friday. (Friday 29th, Friday 5th, Friday 12th..... possible JTL release dates so far)
I dont have any choice. Even importing the standard post is 5-8 WORKING days (So 2 weeks basically) and the FedEx is £14, whichI REFUSE to pay. If I did, I would insist that Activision refund it for screwing up this products launch.

Please can I get some official conformation (from TSR/CSR) what is the current oficial UK release date for JTL?

omg! the European Release was 29th! and in Sweden, Germany etc etc it was out by then, it is UK (and some smaller countries) that have the problem to get JTL. not the whole EUROPE

Thanks for your response Damoku, but which part of UK is dificult for you to understand? At what point did I say anything about Europe? and as you are not an SOE representative in what way do you answer my question?

That was probably me cos I titled the thread "European release date", rather than UK. (hey, we're supposed to be one happy family and the UK still gets shafted every time!)
You'd have though that UK would have been right after America. Or at the very least SOE could have just sold the CD-Keys on the website, or as part of your existing subscription. Would have saved them a buttload of cash printing the manuals and CD's.

place your order, include shipping details, it conmes to $39, which is about £22.
Send them an email asking them to send you the key code via email, as a few sites are doing, but also ask them to send the CD via snail mail. which will take 10days.
means you can get the code and DL the new updates, ive been told 2 hours max. Then you will get the CD so that if you ever need to reinstall it, you dont need to do a mass DL.

I jhave just found out that JTLS has been put back ANOTHER week in the UK!
Its not out on the 12th November.
After paying for the game for over a year I think I have the right to ask the devs what the hell is going on, I know that the game is available off the shelves in some European countries so why is the UK being treated like this?
Think about it, we get the same buildup that the Americans get..... "only 1 day to go!".... you forget to say "unless your in the UK".
I think its discusting, I have stuck by this game since it was first announced all those years ago, I have put up with delay after delay (including the extra delay put on the UK for an Empire divided). All the other european gamers I know had to order on import, but I was sure you would not be so stupid as to fob us off again..... I was wrong.
On top of this You only seem to qualify for the free bike if you preordered with an AMerican company, I have had JTLS on order with a british company for months and because of this I am not eligable for the free gift!
I am not sure I can put up with this for much longer. I saw JTLS as the saviour of Galaxies (the ground/grinding game has become stale to me) and I look forward to any revamp, but this disrespect for paying customers is making me reconsider what I do with my cash.
