Thread: BAH JTL delayed in EU even more

well it sux, why delay it more its been released already, i play a us server i should be able to buy it, and not even an announcement to tell us its delayed untill nov 12th now were just left to find out when we phone the shop we pre orederd from.
not even a knight anymore

Yes there was no need to start another thread on this.
Yes most of us know that its mostly the UK and not the whole of Europe.
A lot of this comes from the first JTL delay where UK people were only talking about delays in the UK and not including Europe, they were then relentlessly corrected, flamed and told to put Europe and not the UK, the devs also posted to say that it was a European delay, so that information kind of stuck. You can't really blame people for it and at the very least you could just politely correct and inform, you don't have to get into petty posting like that.

We really need a sticky about the delays and the reasons for it as it will stop people getting angry when there are new posts made innocently by people stating there is a delay and asking whats going on.

You're then assuming that people actually read the forums before posting ... which may be true for some, but from what I have seen is not the case for a fair few

Iamai : If you read the many other threads on this topic, you will see that it appears that Activision, the UK distributer has been responsible for the delays. My advice to you and anyone else that is able to, is to import the game from the US (I used outpost.com), or use one of the sites that allows you to buy a key and then just download the game through your launchpad (such as dlgamer.com). By doing this you will make the ultimate protest by ensuring that Activision do not get any of your money.

i did have a quick look before i posted couldnt see any posts, and thanks for the info, i already have the game installed from when i played beta so now knowing i can just buy a key (what i thought should be a usual thing anyway) then i'll go and do that

lol, why would I take you to court 
I made that post cause I dont know how TH and all other on SOE can call it a Europe Availability when so many other countries already have it in EU. Only cause US thinks they own the world dont mean that UK own EU
But I really feel sorry for you in UK for the delay.

You don't have to make any form of half assed political comment. Nobody thinks that UK owns the EU. If you read back I have already said why people have been posting and saying the EU and not the UK ... They get flamed for doing it one way, then when they change, they get flamed for doing what they were flamed for not doing !! You just can't win with some people.
