I am having a hard time with Vrke's mission where you have to destroy the doctor's ship so he doesn't make it back to the palace to discuss his trechery. I cannot complete this to same my a$$. I was wondering is there an Imp pilot trainer out there that will actually train you in while you're in tier 3. I've heard that tier 3 is soley mission based. If this is true I fear I will never progress lol. Thanks for the pointers or help.

I don't know of any trainers. My only suggestions would be:
1) Take a loot at your component stats. Crafted blasters and shields seem to be WAY better than looted, while looted engines and capacitors seem to be better than crafted.
2) You didn't say what part of the mission you were having a hard time with, so some generic suggestions:
- If you're having trouble destroying a lambda shuttle because it keeps killing you, use the [ and ] buttons to select it's "weapon 0". That way, once you get the shields and armor down, you can disable the rear gun, and just sit behind it, shooting.
- You have "Emergency weapons" by then, right? I found it immensely useful taking down big ships.
- Dogfighting is really a matter of speed. While I personally haven't looted any good engines, there's always one or two fast ones in the bazaar.
3) If the mission is still too hard, you might want to try bringing a friend.
Hope I'm at least minimally helpfull.

Thanks for the pointers and sorry for being so vague as to which part I was stuck on. The Lamda shuttles are punk to me now. I am easily taking on 4-6 tier 4 guys. The problem I have is the sub mission where you have to destroy the Doc's convoy and that harsh ship he's driving. 4 weapons and fast as the devil. I have a great engine and damn nice shields and weapons. I've tried this mission with my Interceptor and the Bomber now...no luck. Seems I will have to bring a friend or two along for the ride.
