if you think about it tho, the X-Wing has a large area of fire, but that also creates a nice gap at closer ranges. Try this, fly up behind a Scyth fighter, get about 20m from them, and try to hit them. It's tough. Just some food for thought.

I happen to run across 2 low lvl tie's while on my way home, I just couldn't resist. They were in formation, I didn't even targetthem, and the spread on my xwing took them both out with one shot, as I said they were low lvl, but I thought it was soooo funny.
