Thread: Can u walk around in space stations?

please tell me there is some on foot element to jtl. if u cant board space ships then i think jtl was shipped half assed. i havent flown outside tatooine sector so i dont know the answer to this. anyone know?
and if u cant then there goes my suggestion.. boarding and walking in stations lol also real use of capitol ships.. walking around in them too and maybe taking control of stuff but thats going off topic.. anyone know answer to my question?

First of all. it's spelled you. Y-O-U. Why do people use u? It's just two more letters you have to use! Two more letters and you don't murder grammar! Think, McFly! Think!

LOL, i know what you mean, it get to me too after a while. Even "u r" for "You are", but my mind tries to think "urr...". When asked, people say they do that to save time. I wonder what they do with that extra .2 of a second they save from not pressing two more letters...
And for thoses needing to clip some time:

Its because the whole "not being able to walk on space-stations" could be a game ending bug that will ruin space forever.... LOL.... I do agree it would be nice to land on capitol ships and space stations, but it doesn't NEED to be added, let them fix the real bugsfirst beforeasking for more content. If everyone waited for the Devs to COMPLETELY finish JTL before releasing it wouldn't even be out for another year, thats why we pay every month for them to fix the problems and keep the servers running.

Hopefully sometime in the future we will be able to dock with space stations and walk around them. That would be the ultimate in cool. 
But maybe I'm still too hung up on Earth & Beyond.

I agree - being able to dock with AND enter space staions or capitol ships would be cool. It would give a whole new meaning to INTEGRATION between the space and "ground" game. This would also give multi-person ships more roles to play - like boarding actions, etc. What PA/guild wouldn't want to go into space and raid a station/freighter/captiol ship? Think of all the smugglers able to board (or be boarded) in the course of their activities?
Heck, a space station model is already available in the game and nearly everyone has been through it - the "introduction" scenario for new characters. Granted its an Imperial station, but heck its a start and already available for the Devs/players to use. Seems it would be simple to "port" it over for use in the live game.

What I would find more ironic that its called JUMP to lightspeed, considering the only way you can jump in the entire game is by an emote. lol

Well, there is some "foot element" to JTL. You can walk around multi-passenger ships. you can get a ticket and board the correlian Corvette. And there is that little add-on to Jump To Lightspeed called "Star wars: Galaxies that lets you run all around several diferent planets...

While I disagree with your comment about JTL being shipped halfbaked. I do agree that having the ability to dock & walk around on space stations would be a wonderful addition to this game/expansion. The Devs might already have it on their "To Do" list coming after the Combat Revamp. One never knows. But would be cool to eventually see it come to be.

In my opinion the ultimate cool would be for guilds to be able to own space stations.
