Have followed many posts in the forums about the tier 3 storm squadron missions and was finally able to finish the endor escort mission with a master freelance pilot as wingman (after many many attempts). The only problems I see with these missions are 1 there are tooo long and help is difficult to recuit (people say yes to helping untill they find out its a storm squad mission) and 2 they are next to (notice i didnt say they are) impossible to complete solo which leads back to point number 1.

I am on kettemoor server and if there are any other pilots thats are having the same difficulties with these missionssend an in game message and maybe we can build up a group of people that have the same goals in mind and help each other out with these. Many of my guild are based in europe which makes it hard to connect and again unless you are a storm squad pilot the time needed to complete these missions is not a welcome thought to many people. So send pst to Markos Stevens and we can try to set up some flying groups to clear dreaded tier 3. I am usually on after 8 cst and weenkends,

Yeah I agree they are definitely way too long, difficult by yourself, but easy and fun with a group of about 4-5 other people.

There is one mission, I think it's the same one you were talking about, where you have to escort some Bothan Transport or something, that escorts lasts roughly 15 minutes or more, then you have to do it again, so there's another 15 minutes. Plus the rest of the missions to finish which is about 10 minutes.

You're looking at a mission that took 40 minutes.

Dont get me wrong, I like long, involved missions. But not for an escort.

AT least increase the damn speed so it can cut down the 15 minutes to 8-10.

Oh and take A-Wings out of the game.

actaully i was referring to the engineer transport mission...get jumped by 7-8 waves of z x y wings (easy) then recapture transport a-b wings..then escort recaptured transport 7-8 waves of a-b wings ..then disable awing and get plans..then fly to repair a transport more a b wings some black sun lv 4 and pirates tossed in for good measure...then deliver plans to shuttle more a wings.....i dont mind a challenge but that borders on insane....total mission time 1 to 1.5 hours

Yep....the missions take BLOODY forever....

On top of that, the A wings are NEAR impossible to kill....those things have engines that are fast as hell and they are manuverable as hell. And try doing it in a Bomber...I can kill them in an intercepter....If....I had enough mass to put decent weapons in it.

Yep...these missions suck, and I cant find anyone who would ever help.
