Thread: So...ive been noticing about what people want

Ok, so:
At the moment the additions that people want are a little weird, to be honest it would change the game 100% if they got it.
1. Pilotable AT-STs: If we allowed Pilotable AT-STs what would you shoot? The game isnt a first person shooter, except in space, on ground its a button pressing bash fest.
2. Shooting Speeders: ^ See above^ What point would it be to shoot?
3. More planets: Game could have more planets, but the games subscribers are so low, I wonder if the devs are gonna move everyone onto one server...So adding more planets would be off...
4. Cloud Cars, Snowspeeders, etc: See AT-STs.
Honestly, I could agree with all these things, I think they should make the game into a 1st person shooter game and everything would be awesome! XD

1. I would love to see this.
2. They would have to code atmospheric flight first, but when they do I am sure these will come.
3. Until population goes way up, we will not have any more planets. There is enough emptiness as is
4. This too goes with atmospheric flight which is a ways off.
Unfortunately, as much as I would love to have these additions, those requests are simply unrealisitc concerning the development team.

Great ideas !
more planets would be great but you're right we are too few per galaxy. And server merge sounds impossible. We would have to remove every player structures, cities and associations. Not talking about multiple characters on different servers... But more planets would still be great...

If you want a first person shooter, then I have three words for you.
Star Wars: Battlefront.
Galaxies is not a first person shooter on the ground, and will *never* be a first person shooter on the ground. You're right, all those "let's arm vehicles, let's make AT-ST's drivable" wants just aren't going to happen.

ATSTs could be drivable in an rpg environment. It could be controlled pretty much like you would shoot from a mount...except that mount is an atst and the weapon is two laser cannons. You would just control the targeting and movement of the atst, but when it attacks it could do the typical swg rpg-style.

The emptyness is a product of people congregating in theed, mos eisley, and coronet mostly.

You have bases (when they fix them) as well as all those players that run around Buffed and suited up in Comp sporting DOT's, for a Imp. the AT-ST could be their answer to those attacks.

Does anyone know the current count of players in the game, I know it was around 200K before the Japan servers went live?
4. Cloud Cars, Snowspeeders, etc: See AT-STs. Snowspeeders and AT-ST were already brough up (see 1,2) Twin-Pod Cloud Cars...I made a posting on Bespin that addressed this item in a workible way.
Honestly, I could agree with all these things, I think they should make the game into a 1st person shooter game and everything would be awesome! XD If people really want a first-person shooter styled game all they have to do is zoom in on their toon all the way.
