The first thing I tried to do with my yaght was to auto pilot to a random point of interest. When I left the pilots seat the auto pilot turned off and the ship throttled down. I thought to myself, what is the point of a luxury cruise ship if you cant enjoy a cruise in it?
How about a droid that sits in the co-pilots seat and lets you enter several waypoints. The droid will pilot the ship while I enjoy the flight up in the observation deck or do some crafting while looking at ever changing and beutiful sceenery. Heck throw a party cruise without being stuck at the ships controls.
Just a thaught.

How about just make autopilot work like it should? Would be much simpler to code it.

Oh? How so? Maybe a Wookiee or a Sullustan. Droids were always in interface cubbies.

I think, am not sure, that 'they' made it this was so a solo pilot in a combat multi-player ship could not go up in a turrent for combat while the droid was flying the ship......exploit......'they' want mp ship's to remain mp ship's. Sorry mate's I don't see this change'n.
