I just need to say one thing for all of tose imp. pilots out there: Forget the interceptor.

It can just not compare to the combat abilities of the TIE bomber. The bomber is just the perfect tool

for completing tier 3 missions. I tried it out for the first time, and in like half an hour, I soloed my last tier

3 mission on the first try. With the right equipment load, you can really kick the crud out of your enemy.

I was just amazed at how easily and quickly I could take out tier 4 craft, something i could never do w/ my interceptor. It's just the perfect ship for finishing up your tier 3 row. All you need to do in close combat is lower the speed till like 150, and you have great turning ability. The only thing you have to look past is that when you turn, the ship tends to overshoot a bit, but you get used to that.

I cant wait to start my tier 4 missions w/ the bomber. With my closing, i have to say just one thing:

Well, I have kept every ship blueprint since starting pilot (currently 4, 3.8, 4, 3) Currently I'm flying my Aggresor or my Advanced.

I loved my bomber, that thing rules for mass. But once you hit 4,3,3,3 you'll probably like the Aggressor even more. It has a little less mass than the bomber but the agility is much better. I use my Aggresor more than my advanced because I get to carry hefty armour and overall better comp's.

Don't get me wrong, for PvP and just overall cruising I love my advanced. But for going in for the long haul (like those tier 4 duty missions) I love my Aggresor!

I ran both the advance and Bomber all the way to Ace.

Once I hit Ace the advance went into the bank as I could put those ubber level 9 weapons in the bomber and paste everthing I ran into.

I carried the bombers equipment directly over to the oppressor (mass with in 15k of each other) and have not turned back though.

The aggressor lacks the 2nd forward firing weapon so the bomber is still better.

The advanced while nimble lacks the mass needed for all but the most ubber RE'ed equipment.
