Thread: I'm having trouble getting Novice
I got ingame for the first time today and decided to try out the imp pilot faction. I went imp, found the recruiter, got his waypoint to Barn Sinkko and went to Kaadara. When I went to talk to Sinkko, he says stuff like "do you have business with the imperial navy? i didnt think so, go away". Then I tried the guy on Tatooine, up in Bestine. I got the same reaction.
Next I decide to just go neutral and I head up to the main privateer guy and get his waypoint to the trainer on Tatooine. When I get here he says something like "you dont look like a pilot, go away".
basically I cant get any trainers to train me, and I need help. Any suggestions would be great

It's not like it wouldviolate the NDA to answer him. 
Basically the error you're getting means that you are not in the beta. Either you actually are in the beta and there is a problem with your account that makes the server think you aren't in the beta, or you never received a beta invite or a preorder disk and are playing on the Test Center (which I think anyone can join now). If it's a problem with your account, then try re-registering the expansion by clicking the button on the launchpad and putting the serial key in again. If that doesen't work then send Garva a PM and politely ask him to look into it.
I noticed quite a few people getting this error message when they opened up TC-Bria to the public (which had the JTL content on it) for that little stress testing event. This is the error message that people who haven't purchased the expansion will get when JTL goes live.
