Thread: How does one preorder from log in screen, without agreeing to the NDA.

sorry hit the button too soon.
When I click on the preorde JtL on the log in screen, it takes me thru a series of screens ending up with one where I am supposed to sign an NDA to proceed.
Seems incredibly wierd that SOE would require agreement to an NDA to preorder JtL.
What gives?

if you pre-order JTL you get priority access to the JTL Beta Test (atleast you could not shure if you still can) and the NDA applies to that because they want to control the release of JTL info.

Yes, that's a requirement for getting into beta... if you don't meet the requirements to get in, or once the game goes live, then the NDA doesn't mean anything & doesn't apply.

But you have to do this to regester the pre-order code to get your flash speeder tied in with your account.
It says im not 18 so i cant regester it. So this means i cant get my speeder? I think somehting must be done to regester it to your account but not get the beta.

You'll get your speeder. the beta key is your key for the speeder. Just enter in the beta key and your live key for JTL at launch, no problems...
The reason people have to be over 18 right now, is because of the NDA contract. If you choose to play beta, you are under the contract (agreed upon by actually entering the beta) not to disclose information that isn't "public" yet. A minor (anyone under 18) cannot be held byany legalcontract legally. So, hence, no one under 18 may play the beta! Solves that mess...
You dont need to be 18 to have the Flash Speeder, OR play the game when it goes "public" (live launch). No NDA needed at that point.
Don't worry, no one get the live flash speeder untill JTL goes live.

also you have to use a credit card to pre-order, which you cannot use if your not 18.
