Thread: Imperial Outpost Dantooine What were they thinking?

Why the !@#$ cant you land here? I had a CSR tell me this was as intended but i dont buy it, it worked in beta, and there is a starship terminal so why the !@#$ dont we have an option to land on the Imperial Outpost? I am almost a master pilot with my own ship, but I save time if I park all my ships on cornet but live near the Imperial outpost and just ride the bus to cnet to get my ship? THis makes no sense please fix this. Also please reconsider the limitation of the "travel" planets, sheesh.

yea.. I found it kinda funny myself that out of all the starports available on Dantooine the one I needed wasn't available... even though all the other planets you can land at ANY starport... so far as I could tell anyway.. haven't quite gotten to Dathomir yet with my ship... makes it a bit annoying to have to land at either the aggro outpost or the mining outpost and pay 1000 for a roundtrip to get back to my ship... then if I just happen not to complete the mission tis one extra trip that I wasn't entirely wanting to make just to get my quest restarted... BTW who thought of this quest to progress crap... Kinda sucks if you have say 1.3 mill xp and cant lvl cause the only NPC that will train you refuses cause you "havn't" completed his missions successfully....

I dont mind the missions i just think they are insanely too hard.

Yeah they should give you a choice either the insane missions or the xp but put the amount of xp up.

that would work better but either way i am an imperial pilot who cant park at an imperial starport, zero logic in that.

I want an answer as well. I just got my hyperspace capable ship, and was so excited that i could now land by my city on dant, but loh and behold i cant. I am an imperial officer and I cant land there?!? DEV's please fix this or explain it to us, we deserve an answer.

Why is there no option at the Dantooine Space Station for landing at the Imperial Outpost? (The Mining and Agro Outposts are both listed).
A bit of this subject, but you can get to Dantooine space (or any sector but Deep Space and Kessel) by hyperspacing -not by 'travel' (supposedly its a known bug that the Devs are working on). However here is a possible workaround to get to these 'restricted' areas using the 'travel' button:

Look, go to corellia, open the normal shuttle window at the starport and then press the escape key to close it. Now go to the player ship terminal, select your ship, and press the travel button. You will now see that your location has been updated to corellia and you can use the travel option to go to yavin, dantooine, endor, etc. The only reason why you can't normally is because it's a bug and by default the travel option brings up the tatooine map so you can only to travel to places the normal tatooine shuttle can go unless you use the workaround that I listed.
Haven't tried it yet - so I don't know if it works. Just wish I could land at the Imperial Outpost from the Dantooine Space Station....
