I got an small quesation u have imps and rebs who are always overt in space and can attack eachother right? but how about a "Neutral Pilot" or is there a neutral pilot? Freelance pilot maybe ? =)

I'd suggest some research (look on these forums, read a preview, review, look on the main site!!) before posting something as well documented as this

i think yes, the answer your looking for is you can be a neutral pilot, i dont know where the recruiter is, but im sure someone will post here an dlet you know. shame the person before wasnt more helpful, check the faq threads, there may be some help in those

The short answer is YES.
But, You dont have to be overt all the time in space you declare your faction just like the ground game.. Then there is kessel that is a specail part of space that is PVP Only and all faction can particiapte even if your netural. Once you jump to Kessel as a netural you can pick your faction!

Freelance pilot is the neutral pilot... a renegade... a loner...
However, I do believe that if you travel to a Rebel or Imperial space station, you may declare you faction and attack freely on the opposite faction.
The pilot profession choice is just for choosing the type of ships you wish to command and use. Just remember, that if you choose the Rebel or Imperial pilot professions, you will most likely starting gaining factional xp doing the missions.
