Hi, please don't just delete this as happened this moring with another posters message.

Some UK retailers have pushed back the release date again to 12th November (i.e. play.com and game.net), while others still say the 5th (i.e. amazon.co.uk) I was just wondering why this was. Can we expect all release dates to be pushed back to the 12th or am I best off canceling my pre-order with play and getting it else where.

I know this subject has come up a few times - the basic advice is that it isn't so much SOE as Activision who do the distribution in the UK who are at fault. The general consensus I have seen is to cancel any pre-orders via UK outlets and get it via the States.

I have done just that and my JTL arrived today after ordering on Sunday evening from Gamestop.com. If you order today, you'll still get it well ahead of the 12th.

If Activision can't get their act together, I'll be damned if I'm waiting and giving them my money.

SOE is only the company who has the servers and did the code...

LucasArts is the one who sells the game....

Activision is the one who distribute it.....

Nobody has a clue, nobody has the fault.

It looks like a "Catch 22" situation for me.

Maybe nobody has the courage to tell disappointed customers the truth.

And yes - we are all addicted to the game. They can kick our **** and we will play it anyways.

I couldn't get any concrete info on the delayed delayed release date, only roumers and rants on the forums. Guess it's an import then

Activisons own site dosn't even list the game, yet when i spoke to one of there reps its currently down for the 12th november but that date is not fixed, so expect it to roll back yet another week or more from there.
