Ok, me and a friend are on the final mission before Master, killing the Imperial corvette. Anyone have any suggestions on how we kill it? Different tactics and startegies? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Me and a friend in our guild are also going to take ANOTHER shot at this mission tonight. I'm not sure difficult is the word, but definitely annoying. You'll probably want at least 15 people in your group. The corvettes are escorted by at least two gunboats and sometimes a few tier 5 fighters with them.

The strategy we're going to try tonight is to have the whole group focus on the two gunboats at first, since those seem to be the most hurting. The people in the group that actually need to complete the mission should probably load up a longprobe with heavy shields, good armor, and spacebombers/concussion launchers in both ordinance spots. If the group can all focus their firepower on the gunboats and they go down fast, it shouldn't be too much of a problem to take out the corvettes systems and destroy it. It does have primary and secondary shields, reactor, engine, and weapons 0-6. So, there are a lot of things the group needs to take out before that ace box is in the book.

I've assembled groups twice for this mission, each time we had about 10 people actually going into it. It's tedious because you actually have to find the thing in Kessel and then assemble at the waypoint to fly toward it.

The upside though is that you don't actually lose the mission if you die. So, if you get blown up, repair, go to the nearest deep space station again, and head back to where your group is. I t hink the corvettes hyperspace out of the system 30-45 minutes after they've spawned. And yes, they are a static spawn.

Good luck. /s

Does anyone know if we can just grind out the 7 million xp instead of doing this? Or will we have to do this mission regardless of how much xp we have?

The mission is required. That 7.5 million experience means nothing.

So we just gotta zerg the thing? This is stupid.

Yeah you'd have to do the mission. Even if you got the 7.5mil xp, admiral burke won't teach you master, he'll tell you to go do your mission.

It's not a star destroyer. It's called "Star Ravager" and under it "Corellian Corvette".

It's just a imp corvette same as rebs, but it has two imp gunships on it's sides following it.

Oh, I see. Yeah I saw one of those in Kessel. Makes sense now. Thanks.

it has a very short spawn time, i have tried with 15 people, it despawned... only strategy that works is gettign 15 x-4-x-x people in y-wings with bombs decked out and just bomb it, die respawn, and rush back....

This is by no means an easy mission, in fact it is a nightmare. However it is not as difficult as it first appears, this is admittedly from the Imperial perspective, but the mission is virtually the same. First off bring at least 6 people in ships with decent lasers and some missles.(Preferably a mix ofheavy and light fighters.)Second, if you know any actual Masters with Nova Couriers, those crafts are invaluable. Get your heaviest craft to pick at the gunboats first and disable their engines, when the gunboats fall behind get your fighters behind them and lay into their backs until you take down both. Follow that up with using your light fighters to eliminate the fighter escort. Finally when theCorvette is by itself get everyone behind it (VITAL) and lay into it with everything, dump every missle you haveinto it. (Space bombs off a Master Level ship are vital here) Once all the weapons are gone (There are seven) the rest is a simple matter of chewing through the systems asap.
