I went to the location of the trainer and did the death star savalage mission for the brown-rat looking thing. But, he will not give me any piloting mission...It says in the prima game guide he is the trainer??? Someone please help!!!

Not a rebel myself so I can only give a generic advise:
Speak to your former trainer again, he will tell you the name and approx. location of your new trainer again.
Speak to your former trainer again, he will tell you the name and approx. location of your new trainer again.

I have the same problem, but on Yavin IV. I've gained all the Rebeltier 2 skills, have 200K XP (not able to earn any more either)and bought my X-Wing in preparation for training. However, my trainer is simply dishing out standard duty missions. I've tried returning to Lok and Corellia to my previous contacts, but no help there. I travelled to the Abandoned Rebel Base in Dant to see if I could get any sense out of the trainers there (not tried Tat yet) but they only give generic duty missions too. Is this a bug or some ultra subtle puzzle to solve? Either way, it is a bit irritating.

I am doing this myself and found the same trainer. But watch out for the other building there. There is your trainer.

Rebel pilot here. My initial trainer sent me to Yavin IV after I getting 1/1/1/1. I located the Major he sent me to (not the Lt. Col. I beleive the other one is) but all he does is give me duty missions. I'd really prefer to do actual missions over duty missions (they get boring after awhile). I do something wrong? Don't have the right skill? Anything, help!?
