I have to agree here.

Droids should be more powerful than flight computers because they cost approx. 3x more. They should have more powerful capabilities (like make gradual repairs, and bring damaged systems back online) and be able to act independently if you want them to.

If your droid has a personality mod their comments should reflect that.

Sounds great, as I use droids in all ships except my A-wing, which is my favorite, whichI flyexclusively now. You are forgetting on thing, balance.....just think of the outcry if you made droids better than flight comp.'s.

Droid/Flight computers are too simpified. where's the R2D2, R3 type interaction from the movies? Not asking for them to have their own AI but a little more interface would be nice. The droid mute program really has no meaning. Droids don't talk enough for it to be of any use. I'd like to see a little comm box pop up (like the NPC chatter)everytime you access a droid program suggesting the droid/computer received the command and is acting on it vice the system message that comes across the screen.

Even though the screen turns red briefly and the blips start flashing on radar when you get hit, how about having the droid making some smart a$$ remark in the chat window. "Ur being fired upon." "I think we've been hit" Or give you systems status as things deteriorate. Not fond of the current display and it isn't accurate. Armor stats are always at 100% even though my armor was shot away.

As is the only function of the droid is to save datapad space so you aren't cluttered with all those programmed chips.
