I love JTL, and I am havinga lot of fun with it, however I do have a few problems which I would like to address here.
1. NPC AI
Am i the only one who sees the ships flying in circles the WHOLE time. There is very little juking when you start firing on NPC starfighters. And you have to POUND the heck out of their shields to kill them, something I see that is against star wars continuity. I would like to have seen Less shots to Kill the NPC starfighter but more juking and evasive action to make them harder to hit. Now you guys might say its because of your lower skill, but Ive been up to 4.4.3.3 and continually see the same problem.
2. Lack of Starships
When I think about starwars, I think about light frigates, heavy frigates, and starships along with starfighters. I would like to see NPC light and heavy frigates that are attackable, and starships orbiting the planets. It would be great if they didnt attack you unless you attacked them, like the ground game. If you look at the Star Wars Alliance game, they have Plenty of ships that I would love to see in this game. It would add to continuity and make it more star warsy. All I see now is starfighters and a Few starships and few frigates. Also, it would be cool if NPCs from different factions were battling in certain areas where players could join and help the fight. Ex. A mon cal cruiser or 2 or 3 against an Imperial stardestroyer and regiments of starfighters in a PVP zone where you can fight the battle. Or a frigate of some type from two factions battling eachother and you could go in and fight along with your faction.
Again, I love JTL and the potential is endless, these are just some of my concerns and ideas for improvement. Let me know what you think!

I agree. Star Wars is not who has the better shields, but who was the better pilot? It has always been that way. Although shields are an important factor, and will stay within the game, I still feel that people can take too much of a beating instead of out-flying their opponent.
On the lines of more ships, they did say something about more freighters/more non-combat missions I believe in the HoC chat. I feel it would give it that "Starwarsy" feeling we all love.
Something totally off-topic I feel to be an important issue, is the lack of variety in the NPCs taunts and faces when they blip on your screen. I saw all of them within the first day. They need to be more attuned to what is going on, and that needs to be programmed into how they respond/act.
Anyways, I'm basically agreeing with you, and adding some of my own thoughts, if you don't mind.

the idea of enemy taunts and screams being a little more in detail would be cool, and would hopefully not take too much effort. they all just look to calm when theyre screaming "aaaaaaah!" but its not important to me. adding more and more ships owuld be cool, wether they be pc available or just as npcs.
