i am rebel havoc 3333 and i want to know if tier 4 is like tier 2 a duty grind?

Yes, it is. Enjoy. 
A place I liked to go for xp is here:
Hyper to Red Sin Chimaera hyper point, Endor. Once you arrive, activate the "Declorian Territory" POI. Travel there. Proceed to light up the pirates, and enjoy the xp and the loot.

i got all my xp from helping people on there missions, i maybe grinded 1-2 mill total

I will have to try that too as the Duty Missions are way too hard. Everything is Tier 4 and lots of them so I would need Tier 4 Components to handle them at least and even that might be too low. The best income mission would seem to be the frighter mission. Did that last night and the ships mainly attack the freighter so you can handle 1 or 2 at a time and the missions are short with a 5000 credits payout so in an hour or so I did like 5or 6 of them but because they are so short not as much XP. The first hunting hunting ties mission starts out all right but the starts throwing 9-12 Tier 4 Ties at you and thats overwhelming solo.

Well I have an X-wing with 3 lvl 7 Blasters and Mark II concussion Missile Launcher and lvl 7 Shield and I can take down a Tier 4 ship but those missions start throwing 9-12 Tier 4 ships at you and I don't care what you have in the ship your not gonna be able to handle that. Which is why its hard. You get 9+ ships jousting you just try and win that battle which is common in the missions for Tier 4.

It doesnt get that hard unless your into the 4th or 5th circuit in the duty mission. Ive gone up to the 4th and i dont recall it being quite that bad. maybe abut 6 to 8 ties, but not 9 to 12.

Was that before the last patch? Because now you get shot and the fighter runs away and while you are waiting for the next run all the rest get behind you and blast you and you turn around and they all scatter at super high speed. So its like you can't chase anything to kill it because of the speed and you can't wait for targets to come back because they gang up behind you. I got to the 2nd Tier but they it just started to get to be too many to be able to withstand that unavoidable wear and tear on the rear shield and if you reinforce it then the front gets torn up.
