A fellow guildie and I were doing his first Tier 4 mission in Dathomir. He was lagging really bad and his fighter was exhibiting the standard housefly/bumblebee movement patterns. A Tier 4 Tie Interceptor got on his six and started to track him. Naturally, I fell behind to clear his tail.

That Tie Interceptor tried to track his bee-like movements. It was AWESOME! It jinked! It varied its throttle! It constantly executed random, severe maneuvers in a vain effort to nail my friend in the tail! (heh) It provided me the most fun target I've ever faced in JtL! (Ofcourse, I did pretend that the Tie Interceptor was trying to avoid my fire, not kill my friend's lagging X-Wing.)

Now, if high level enemy fighters were all capable of such awesome defensive maneuvering, I'd love this game even more.

Soloed my first one (gunship) yesterday in my TIE Interceptor... That was all kinds of fun.

Go after a mob of tier 5 droid fighters. That will keep you busy far a long time.

I hate gunships. I have yet been able to solo one. I have an idea of how to do it and I think I can do it. Everytime I find one there is always a Decimator and two aggressors with it. I need more practice I guess.

Thought Number One: Maybe all of the AI in the game should "simulate" lag conditions when executing maneuvers. What could be more random than random-ness itself?

Thought Number Two: My most satisfying kill was when I decided to make a guns-a-blazing solo run on a Tier 5 Decimator, and I took the beast out in one pass without even scratching my armor. 12K+ XP.
