Is it possible for pilots to use pre-programmed command chips ‘cross’professions?

If so, when and how is this done?

I will display the "Test Center" icon until SWG is bug free.

Yep that's the reason for the program chips, ya don't need them for the stuff you know from your own faction.

Edit: Oh and in answer to the other part, you can buy them. Use galaxy search. Open your data pad (Ctrl-D), then program your flight computer or droid with the chips.

Just buy the chips and leave them in your inventory. Program your droid/computer like normal, and the chips will appear in the list of available programs.

Word of advice - use the chips first before your own programs. Sometimes when you add a program in that's too big for the memory bank, the system won't give you a warning message. When you Committ, the chip/program is lost. Better to lost your own programs than a purchased chip.

Are you a pilot and not using Droid Commands?
