Thread: Add the Sith Infiltrator!

A question for our correspondent:
Why is it that the light side jedi get to flyBen Kenobi'sjedi starfighter, but the devs won't add Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator for the dark side jedi?

Mostly due to the tie-ins with Episode 3. All the new starfighters come from that movie. Its a marketing technique. Cash in on the hype!

There's also the distinct possibility that they might still add the Infiltrator, becuase it has been said that not all of the new ships have been revealed yet.

actually the book i've been reading 'labyrinth of evil' leads directly into episode 3. it mentions maul's infiltrator as having been picked up by alliance intelligence and it was then picked apart, several of the systems self-destructed to prevent tampering and its useless hulk now rests somewhere on coruscant. so the design is there, whether it'll be implemented by the republic/empire remains to be seen.

that would be a very cool addition to the game, but would the infiltrator be morea multi-person ship over a fighter, since from its appearance in TPM outside Mos Espa lookedmassive. But to be completely honest i'd prefer an extentionto the starfighterprofession over new ships, a Starfighter Elite tree after Master Pilot.

Sith Infliltrator would be cool. Not like we saw it do anything but fly and land in Ep I.

If it is a Sith ship. then they CAN't add it. Players can't become the Sith BUT Jedi light and dark could fly the Jedi starship... why? cause it's a JEDI starship.
Nothing Sith should be given to players. Keep something truly away from players wanting all to pretend they're of the Sith.

considering the amount of whining jedi have done about the jedi starfighter (whaa it should be jedi only or we should have uber force powers when flying it) do you think it would be a good idea to add another one of these "should it be jedi only" ships. All dark jedi will love to be flying one of these.
If it were just like any other normal ship and given to the imps or something then yeah it would be another great addition

I belive people can beomce a sith..... Isint one of the highest Force Ranking system dark ratings something with sith?

Unless they can take out Darth Vader or the Emperior.
There is always only two Sith.

yeah i guess you are right, it is a sith ship and players can only become dark jedi. The problem is that many players use a hazy facts to try and justify adding things to their faction (or class if your talking about jedi) so they could hope that the jedi startfighter is for light jedi and the sith infiltrator to dark. Thats just one way to look at things, I know it doesnt exactly add up but hey its only a game and alot of things dont in SWG
Anyway it would be cool if they added it
