For somereason after I got severly owned I got my ship fully repaired and for some reason no matter what I do I cannot see my cockpit I see everhting aorund me as if I am ploating and if I scroll out I see the ship just where the cockpit should be isn't

There is a command to remove the cockpit...maybe you accidently hit it like i did one time. I don't remember what it was though. To late at night.

I fanyone can remember what that command was LOL I would like to have my ockpit back... I can turn off the entire hub but that isn't it I got the hub but my cockpit is gone.
Please help.

There is a toggle to turn the cockpit on or off under the 'ctrl o' options window. I can't remember which sub menu but it is in there.

Ctrl-shift-F2 toggles it off and on as well.When I jump to hyperspace with a menu open I usually get the cockpit view altered.

Thank you! I will try that. =) it is just not the same without seeing through my ship's window =)
