can anyone answer this question for me.

My guild has two Ace pilots (1imp and 1freelance). if we take our MP ships into deep space, does our co-pilot and gunners also have to be ranked Ace pilots too? or is it only the pilot?

Anyone can man the turrets

only someone of the same faction is allowed in the operations chair

only an ace pilot of the same faction can pilot your ship for you.

Any pilot of the same faction can use whatever droid programs you have programmed into your interface if they're in the ops chair, however they only have access to their pilot commands. Anyone can man any other part of the ship.

Ok then the answer is that "Yes, i'm the only one who needs to be Ace" as to the rest of it even if we die in 3-5sec could still be fun.

Well, I tooled around for about a half hour in DS in my YT the other day. Of course we didn't see any player Imperials out there. And T5 fighters are a real bear for the gunners to get a bead on. So it's largely pointless unless you're going after gunships and Decimators. Even then, one Imperial ace showing up and it's bye-bye. But we did have fun buzzing the Star Destroyer. Nothing quite like the cockpit view from a YT, glancing over at your copilot and seeing the massive hull of the SD zipping past below. Gave the whole crew a nice tour before we jumped out.
