This has probably been answered before but I cant seem to find a thread about it so mabye it hasent.
I pre-ordered through Lucasarts. Does this mean I wont be able to get the speeder? I would find it very unfair if that were the case considering how it is now linked up to the SWG main page with a header of "Click here to find out more about Jump to Lightspeed and the pre-order incentive program!"
So is Lucas doing thefree speeder as well?

It is my understanding that only ebgames.com and gamespy are giving away the speeder with their pre-orders.

OK now I dont know what to think. I just checked on my order with Lucasarts and it says its backordered with no ETA on arrival. Are orders through Lucas going to be downloaded or am I looking at a late disc arrival? If its going to be late Im cancelling the Lucas order and going with one of the guarenteed speeder companies.
Dev input?

I did the same thing and ordered through the launchpad. I have the same question as you do. While it clearly states EB and GameSpot, it doesn't rule out allother 'Pre-Order' venues either. Granted it also doesn't state themso that in itself may indicate that it's only EB and GameStop preorders. I suppose it's possible to cancel the Lucas one and order through these two, just to be safe. Still, clarification would be helpful.

Honestly, the safest bet is to just cancel the LucasArts order and go with one that is actually offering the speeder. It's the same price and there's no penalty for canceling.
