WHY? Did you have to make JTL ANOTHER GRIND? Can you not ever get the satisfaction of playing this game without grinding to get to something good? All you have to do is allow people to become a pilot and give them a ship. The level of the pilot should be based purely on skill. If you can't be as good as the others, then quit. I don't recall seeing 12 year olds in space except for Anakin, and he didn't complain about the fighting being hard or too tough. He just did it and went on his business.

I have played this game since November of last year. When I finally got my profession done i said, " OK now what"? Where was the WAR you guys keep promoting? I have been a pvper since February. You cannot pvp on Eclipse with 20 people at the MOP. Why not?

Players if you are smart and watch the promotion video you would see that in the little PvE part there is still like 5 guys, and like 10 npcs. That's not war at all. Look at Wrenpire. over 40 people showed up for the event and not even half of them could see what they were shooting.

Now you as developers have a responsibility to live up to your promotions. Stop the loot junk and get off your butt and start tweaking the servers to be able to have WAR.

If you look at the box it says 'Star Wars Galaxies' NOT Barbie Doll's dream house (quote taken by a friend). I understand that not everyone does pvp. But there are a great deal of people who do on our server of Eclipse. We are tired of the Jedi junkey. Sure we have them in our guild and everything but most of us could care less.

FIX THE SMALL ISSUES AT HAND. ONCE THAT IS DONE THEN MOVE ON TO ADDING NEW THINGS.

How is it a grind? Jesus, I swear that's the new buzzword for our time. Just like "dude" was in the 80's. Grinding is a state of mind. If you install the game with the mindset that you MUST master your piloting profession as quickly as possible then yes, it's going to be a grind for you.

I plan to install JtL. Play for about 3 hours. Logout and go about my day. After that I'll probably log in every day and do one mission and then log. I plan to simply enjoy roleplaying a rebel pilot. People really need to learn that word: Roleplay.

It's not a race to the top, take your time. See what's out there. Group up and have fun.

The combat rebalance has NOTHING to do with the lag issue, it is solely based on balancing weapons/armour/defense stacks. GCW is another issue and I like it currently, wish their was more roleplay about that though. and yes it is a grind if you make it. But missions shouldn't give exp. they should take you 3 days to complete 1 mission. 10 missions total. that's 1 month to master your piloting skills.
