I saw in the JTL ship listing website "escape pods." I also noticed escape pods in several nova courier interior screenshots. How do these escape pods work? What happens when you use one?

Now i didnt play beta but im basing this info on what ive heard.
When amultiperson ship gets critically damaged or disabled a menu will come up with Eject from ship or something along those lines. Press that button and the game will go into a cutscene of the escape pod flying from the ship. Then youll reload on the planet you originally took off from.
As i said before, i was not in beta, just basing my info on what ive heard

I was in beta, here is how it goes...
Every ship has escape pods, when your ship get hurt bad enough a button comes up that you press and says you eject. Then it has a cut scene of the ship blowing up. The MP ship escape pods are just for looks, they do not actually work in that sense.
