What happens to the stuff you take when you dock w/ another disabled ship? I came across some components the other day on a ship (forget the name) but couldn't find anything afterwards in my inventory or datapad. Anyone have any ideas about this? The resident JTL expert on my server has no idea

When you dock with a disabled ship, you steal some data. The data takes no actual form, it's for a mission objective.

I.E. I had a mission to intercept a nightsister thing to help free some smugglers (was not my mission, I was flying assistant to a friend). We disabled, he inspected and docked. Get's the 'data' and the WP updates.

You don't technically loot anything, it's just additional data stored in the mission data.

Don't worry too much about it.

I wasn't worried.. I actually thought it would be cool to jack other ships out there. Also, the ship had nothing to do with my mission. I might not have even been out on a mission
