When you hit the alt key to change your mouse to a pointer, to point at stuff, the lead target thingie dissapears. Just hit alt to get rid of the arrow and it should be back. If this is what you are talking about.

Hmm alt doesnt work, believe me ive tried everything to get it back. Anyone having a similar problem? Even when im in mouse look mode it wont show up. Its stuck in the dead center of the screen.

I dont mean the lead reticle, im talking about that little purplebox cursor that shows up when you are in mouse look mode. Its vanished, but shows up for a second when I alt tab in the center of the screen and wont move.

Ah nm I fixed it, im currently using a mouse to fly and the "virtual joystick" cursor disappeared because it got set into joystick mode, dont know how that happened but sorry to confuse all you joystick users
