It took alot of dying, alot of protons, and alot of strategy, but a group of 5 defeated the Imperial Corvette on live today.
3 of us needed to destroy it, two Alliance pilots, and me, a Privateer.
Some tips:
Destroy the Gunships first, those are the biggest obstacles because they hit just as hard as the vette. Gun Turret 2 is the rear turret - take it out first.
The Corvette cannot be blown up from behind, you have to fly to the side, and infront and hit specific points of the ship. It will take awhile, you will die alot, but it can be done. This mission is IMPOSSIBLE solo, don't believe any of the blowhards that tell you otherwise.
Imperials pilots are doing the Master Mission on easy mode because Alliance gunships are bugged, have no rear turret, and won't chage direction to shoot you with the side turrets. So don't get discouraged when they boast about soloing or duoing their mission. Alliance has it much harder.
The Helmet we get looks stupid, but I'm going to wear it anyway.
