Jump To Lightspeed Archive

As noted, Tier 3 mission, second mission in the set, Storm Squadron Imperial. Get the mission form Yavin 4, load up, and head out. I do all of the mission, inspect the freighter, disable it, get the info, go back to the imperial ship and load the info into it, and then it says "Mission Complete" and I jump out of the system. Back to yavin, thinking sweet, I get to load this interceptor with some gear worthy of it's sleek chassis. And nada, mission doesn't show active in my quest journal, and he wants me to go do it again.

These missions aren't easy, fun mind you, but not easy, and I really would prefer not to do it again, but after now 48+ hours and no response, I'm guessing I'm forced to do it again? Or is this a known issue?

I'm having the same problem. It seems there is supposed to be a battle, but you and I are not getting the waypoint or quest update for it. I've done the mission 4 times now, and I'm starting to get annoyed.

Same here done it twice now, but final objective not being received!! After the patrol I sit in space for 5 mins n no objective comes through.....why can't I just KILL Captain Denner (and for that matter, the person who created him??!!).

Even put in a bug report and a CSR ticket for this issue. All I got back was an auto reply from the CSR centre, and the ticket had been closed. Some lame bull bout ensuring ther's space in my inventory since I chose the mission reward category!!

Okay then....I found that if you use the targeting controls while on the patrol there is a Tier 4 Rebel X-Wing. After attacking this, I recieved the final objective (note:I did not complete all the patrol waypoints; I just attacked the Rebel when I found him). Warning: The final battle is against 9 x-wings and a-wings (tier 3) plus a NOVA. Go for the Nova's gun first then it should be easy...just watch your back!!

My only wish now is that the objective was clearer and easier to trigger the final battle objective for this mission.

te key that you guys are missing is that it IS STORM SQUADRON the HARDEST IN THE GAME!~!!!!!! anyways, after evey complete mission wait like 5 min jsut to make sure you dont recieve another, and for doing the patrol part before you go to the battle, you must be going slower than 500 ateach patrol point or it doesnt script fast enough and lose your mission.
