Thread: 3 major problems and possible solutions of the GCW in relation to JTLS

disclaimer: i am sure i am not alone in these thoughts and i am sure variations have been posted about them, but these are my top three problems and solutions that i see for this situation
problem: griefing due to load times and/or location:
solution: on oppisite sides of the planet(or far away from each other) have armadas that will destroy any opposing faction ships, but this is where you spawn, a group of star destroyers stationed in orbit and you actually fly out of it to start your space trip, it always maintains a large compliment of fighters, so that even if all the opposing faction attacked they would fail. This could be considerd the buffer zone for launching of the space zones. Have the radius pretty huge so that the other faction could not camp the highways, or if they did, the local team could run out and hit them then scamper back to the protection of the armada.
problem:what ship fits with what pilot tree
solution:nuetral can only fly nuetral ships, rebel can fly neutral and rebel, imp can fly nuetral and imp. Where the nuetral would get a new ship, that is where the faction would also get that ship. to appease the masses, allow the nuetral to fly a less popular type factional ship(lambda shuttle etc)
problem:consenual pvp
solution: just like faction perks, must be overt to use, but you can take factional missions being covert, you just got to use a nuetral ship, jsut like i can kill with my weapon or use a faction pet and faction armor my choice, but if your overt, you will have more fire power, just like being overt on ground(if your imp with an at-st that is

Your first problem is legit, however, your solution is illogical. You would only add another 5 minutes to everybody's load time in space. 2 Capital ships and a score of fighters? Most people's computers would die instantly, lol.

A solution to the load time killings could be just a no-fire zone withina certian radius around the docking/take-off zones.

OK, make it one weapon/launch platform with unbreakable shields and tons of firepower and range.
About the 5 minutes of more life, place the platform where we can fly away inany direction . This way, the campers will need to guess which way you are leaving the ship from. They could very well camp the lane to the mission objective, but if you know this or don't want to engage, take the long way around or bring friends.
